Hazlewood was ruled out of the first Test due to injury

Josh Hazlewood has been ruled out of the first Test due to injury. The pacer is also uncertain in the second Test. He is suffering from an injury to his left leg. Hazlewood suffered the injury while bowling in the Sydney Test against South Africa in January. Although he came to India with the team, he could not bowl in Australia’s four-day preparatory camp.
In the absence of Hazlewood, Scott Boland is going to get a chance to play a Test outside the country for the first time. Hazlewood has played only four Tests in the last two years due to injury. Mitchell Starc has already been ruled out of the first Test due to injury.
